This 1976 program, produced for WRAMC-TV, is a lecture by Dr. Elias G. Theros. Rather than using the traditional technique of detecting changes in the pleura, Dr. Theros focuses on the neoplasms of said pleura. Focus is also on the mesothelioma, a primary component of the pleura. X-ray scans and images are used throughout the lecture to illustrate differences between types of mesotheliomas. Increased awareness and discussion of mesothelioma are important as diagnoses continue to grow in number.
