- Abstract:
- This presentation, recorded at the 24th Annual Armed Forces Seminar on Obstetrics and Gynecology, is given by Dr. Val Davajan. It provides an overview of infertility due to either Cushing’s syndrome or hyperaldosteronism. Symptoms of these disorders include abdominal weight gain, oily skin, acne, weak muscles, and a round face. While there are treatment plans available, Dr. Davajan recommends that women with this syndrome try to have children as soon as possible if they wish to have them. Hysterectomy is sometimes recommended. Various informational slides are used throughout the video.
