(Critical) This program discusses archival quality and how to correct problem situations to preserve films. Protective equipment and general safety when handling chemicals are also considered. The presentation is well-done, easily understood and meets its objectives. Thus, the program is recommended for students of radiologic technology. and This presenter discusses the importance of maintaining the quality of radiographic images for hospital records. A returning patient may need use of an old radiograph from years prior to compare any changes that have occurred since the last appointment. Thus, the environment of the radiographic storage room needs to be heavily regulated. In addition, there are certain hazards associated with working with a chemical system, and information on first aid and emergency protocol are also presented.
