Presented at the Seminar on Science, Public Policy, and Public Information at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Fogarty reflected on the challenges of getting good quality health information out to the public. He said he was especially worried about "the amount of science fiction that is being given the public today in the guise of science reporting."
