Abstract:: Partial recording of Senate subcommittee hearings. Senator Robert F. Kennedy (D-MA) convened this subcommittee hearing to discuss government-directed and -funded research on lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), proposed restrictions on such research, and ways in which government agencies including the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institute of Mental Health could better coordinate their oversight efforts. Witnesses include James Goddard (FDA), Philip Lee (DHEW), and Stanley Yolles (NIMH).
