- Brigade Surgeon J.H. Thompson is dismissed for being an alarmist, five men are stricken from the rolls after being captured by the enemy while straggling outside the outpost, the headquarters of Lieutenant Colonel William Hoffmann, Commissary General of Prisoners, is transferred from New York to Detroit, and proper attention to the rules on assembling General Courts Martial is demanded.
