- This is a biographical interview with Frances Humphrey Howard, who provided key support to the National Library of Medicine over several decades. Howard describes growing up in Huron, South Dakota, and her work with the United Nations. She also talks about her relationship with her brother, Vice-President Hubert Humphrey. Photographs show Howard with Eleanor Roosevelt, Ralph Bunche, Elvis Presley, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and various other celebrities and family members.
