Black and white photograph of Tom Edwards and company; three people in costume, one dressed as a nurse, and a ventriloquist doll. The nurse is played by ventriloquist Alice Edwards, the wife of English ventriloquist Tom Edwards. Together they formed the Tom Edwards Vaudeville Company. The postcard is hand-signed, "Yours ventriloquially, Tom Edwards." The postcard was issued in 1919 when the company was on tour, performing at the Palace Theater in New York.
