In this letter Crick further refined his sequence hypothesis (that genetic information is encoded in the sequence of the bases of DNA) and the Central Dogma (that sequence information from nucleic acid used to form a protein can never flow back from the protein to the nucleic acid) as they apply to protein synthesis, embryology, antibodies, and the nervous system.
