The Wellcome Library for the History and Understanding of Medicine. Francis Harry Compton Crick Papers
Watson, James D., 1928-
Crick, Francis, 1916-2004
In his most forceful objection to Watson's plans for publishing The Double Helix, Crick here stated that "if I had known that you were going to write the sort of book you have written I would never have collaborated with you."
