Various words and images that look as if they have been cut out from a newspaper or magazine are scattered across the poster and indicate the dangers of contracting syphilis or gonorrhea. Warnings include, "just takes once," "syphilis can lead to insanity," "no girl is going to tell you she has it," "you can't ever be sure, " and "gonorhhea can keep you from being a father if you should ever want to have a family back home".
