Two young boys are checking the sugar levels in their urine; they are working at a table on which are plastic cups, bowls, small jars, and color bars. Verso: WHO/15164. AMRO. Diabetes. USA. Testing urine for sugar is a serious business for the young campers at Camp Glynden, Maryland, USA. They use a small test kit which requires only five drops of urine, ten drops of water and a reagent tablet. Each child determines his own sugar level according to the colour change that takes place. If the sugar level goes up he reports it is the medical staff. These test are done four times a day.
