During his tour of duty in Europe, 1928-1931, Kolb and his colleagues did a series of mental studies of prospective immigrants of various nationalities, to determine which tests were most useful for each group, and learn more about other variables in the testing process. Kolb's correspondence indicates that this was intended for publication in PHR. Kolb also used the study data in an exhibit at the International Eugenics Congress in 1932.
