(Critical) This program reviews the political, social, and economic aspects of third world populations affected by bottle feeding. The consequences of bottle feeding--diarrhea, dehydration, and malnutrition--are depicted in the slums and rural areas of Nairobi. Measures to combat advertising with educational classes on the value of breastfeeding are discussed. The dramatic portrayals contribute to the biased presentation of the topic. This is not an objective historical overview or a scientific analysis of the data; rather, it is an impassioned, technically excellent presentation of the problem. Although it should not be presented without the balancing guidance of a qualified instructor, the program is recommended with reservations for use as a stimulus to discussion.
