This is a brief overview on the range of forms of lung sickness and related methods of detection. The lecturer discusses four different types of lung disease, ranging from bronchitis to pneumonia. Certain elements of each disease distinguish them from one another, which is important in preventing false panic when pneumonia is incorrectly diagnosed. Sometimes, heart diseases can also be falsely detected as pneumonia. X-rays are used throughout the presentation to distinguish between the different types of disease.
