Abstract:
(Critical) This program outlines the historical, physical, and laboratory evaluation of the hypertensive patient. A comprehensive discussion of the pharmacology of drugs used in hypertension management includes the rationale for drug selection and for a triple drug regimen. The problems of patient education and compliance are not addressed. Good visualization supports the narration. As the program's age belies the term "update", the title is inappropriate. This program isrecommended for graduate and continuing education.
