This 1975 lecture by Dr. Val Davajan was recorded at the 24th Annual Armed Forces Seminar on Obstetrics and Gynecology in San Antonio. Dr. Davajan presents a lengthy slideshow on cervical mucus, its role in aiding the transport of spermatozoa, and how this varies at different points in the estrous cycle. Ways of performing tests on cervical mucus and semen are presented and illustrated with diagrams and photographs of the equipment used, followed by tips on how to interpret the results obtained and ways to improve outcomes if patients' tests show unsatisfactory results.
