Abstract:
This 1975 lecture by William E. J. McKinney is a short history of radiographic processing that shows the development of equipment from the time of manual processing through automatic hanger transport systems to modern automatic radiographic processors. Various techniques and equipment used over time are described and illustrated by use of diagrams and photographs. and (Critical) This program presents the development of processing from manual to automatic processors and includes descriptions of various models. The presentation is well done and meets its objectives. Thus, the program is recommended as introductory material to processors for radiologic technicians.
