This humorous illustrated color postcard depicts the surprise a doctor and nurse get when they x-ray a patient. The doctor, wearing a white lab coat, is operating a large x-ray machine. Behind him a nurse, wearing a dark dress and high heeled shoes and a nurse's cap, is writing notes. A man wearing brown pants and shoes is standing behind a screen. A green, transparent plastic slide shows a skeleton view of the man's chest and arms. The postcard is made so when the green slide is lifted up, it reveals a red, transparent plastic square with an image of the Manneken Pis. The Manneken Pis, a well-known symbol of Brussels, is a 17th century sculpture of a little boy urinating into a fountain.
