Abstract:
Part of a series dedicated to highlighting advances in neurosciences and brain research, this lecture is part of Symposium V: the Aging Brain, Alzheimer's and New Perspectives. Kenneth S. He gives a brief history on the present body of scientific knowledge about it and talks about the pros and cons of new drugs being developed and prescribed to Alzheimer's patients. There is a question and answer segment led by Philip W. Gold, M.D.
