- This color illustrated postcard advertises Bromo-Caldo Robert, a drug to treat nervous conditions. The illustration shows a woman leaning on her right elbow, her head on her right hand. Her eyes are closed and half of her face is obscured by a brown veil and its shadow. Behind her is a calm sea. The reverse of the card states that the drug contains sodium bromide and has a sedative effect. It provides dosage and administration information for both pill and liquid forms.
