Daily diary of a Jefferson Medical College student covering two school sessions starting Oct. 1870 and ending March 1872. In diary fashion, Wynn records notes about each lecture or quiz including details such as date, professor's name, time of day. The end of session two contains a personal narrative about his final exams and graduation experiences including his impressions, positive and negative, of his professors and fellow students and their lives to come as physicians. Also tipped in are college and quiz roster cards for both sessions that record the daily class schedule and teachers, and his notices about graduating and commencement exercises. Also included are a list of required books, some miscellaneous notes, and medical formularies. Altogether the work is a unique and compact look into the daily life of a 19th century medical student.
