- Black and white photo with added red and yellow accents featuring a Japanese female model in a nursing uniform holding a magazine and a paper and leaning on a fence. There is a shrub in front of the nurse and fence. Her western style clothes are very unusual for Japan during the Meiji period (1868-1912), when this photo was taken.
