- Abstract:
- Enlistments of volunteers are under the direction of the Provost Marshal General; officers may re-enlist regiments going out of service and will be restored to their rank if the regiment is filled within thirty days, but will not be paid for the interim time; discusses bounties paid to men who enlist for three years; and regiments being disbanded will take their arms and accoutrements to their state of discharge and deliver them to the governor.
