On the front of the card is the anatomic chart of a human skeleton, with a bright red drawing of a heart, and an arrow pointing at it with words "You are here". On the back, there is an "out loud" message in the middle: "Love thy brother. Protect thy brother. Protect thy self." Above, against red background, is fiction about HIV: "HIV is not such a big deal anymore." Below, against yellow background, is fact: "In 1997, it is estimated that up to 740 people in King County [Wash.] acquired a new HIV infection." Phone numbers to call for help are provided.
