- Royal blue poster trimmed in white, with gold and white lettering, announcing meeting, Mar. - Apr. 1987. Also lists location and dates. Four corners feature gold, filigree style design. Title near top of poster. Main visual image is a series of five circles with halftone photos of men considered founders of the APS. Their names are listed under the circles. A small montage of the Washington Monument, the Capitol, and other D.C. sites appears below the founders' photos, perhaps to emphasize the conference location. There is an illegible artist's signature at the bottom of the poster, possibly the illustrator for the montage.
